Enjoy your Ride

The Wavecrest Beach Hotel horses are good-natured and very friendly.

We walk the horses through the river at low tide, before heading across to the beach, to enjoy an absolutely amazing experience cantering down our long beach.
A longer outride option is available, where we climb the large dunes and walk the high grassed ridge, before exploring the valleys. We come out of the forest near Silver Bay and return home along the beach at a canter.

Outrides are approx. 1-2 hrs duration, although this is entirely flexible, as rides are done at your pace.
This activity is for experienced riders only, and you must be able to trot and canter.
Experienced children are also welcome.
Maximum weight limit is 90kg for the rider.
We have 3 horses for riding (1 guide + 2 guests)
