As there are no villages or huts anywhere near Wavecrest, the resort is without doubt the most secluded on our coastline. As a result it offers seclusion and privacy for those who wish to pursue their relaxing activities au naturel and enhance their all over tans.
Delight in the myriad of creatures, which abound in the rocky pools, only a short walk from the hotel. The patient rambler may find sea anemones, giant cockles, and even a shy octopus. Wonder at the elegant oystercatchers feeding in the prolific mussel beds.
A wide expanse of beach dips gently into the sea.
The masses of plough snails are a testimony to the perfectly safe bathing in these warm waters. A romantic moonlight walk reveals scores of Ghost crab, scurrying busily through the effervescence of an ebbing tide. The energetic may jog or pace kilometres of isolated solitude. Leave your kids to their sand castles - they are safe!
